A natural paradise
The Cíes Islands are an archipelago located in the Galician Rías Baixas, facing the Ría de Vigo, in the province of Pontevedra. They consist of three main islands: Monteagudo, Do Faro and San Martín.
This group of islands is part of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia Maritime-Terrestrial National Park, a protected natural area that preserves some of the most representative landscapes of the Galician Atlantic coast.
Its famous Rodas Beach, which connects the islands of Monteagudo and Do Faro, was named the best beach in the world by the British newspaper The Guardian.

You need to obtain an authorisation from the Xunta de Galicia to visit the islands during the high season.
From May to September. Summer months are the most popular, book in advance.
